Working on polished looks and new extras


Hello! I got some news, after much thinking, I decided to give the game a fresh coat of paint, and if you follow me on any of my social media, you'll also know that I am planning to release the game on Steam.

Jake’s Halloween Night was made in a month with no planning and very rushed visuals. But now that I've grown to love this project more than I expected, I want to give it a more “polished” with improved visuals, new secrets I had no time to add the first time,  and not rush art. 

I also decided to move the game to RPGMaker MZ, which means I will be programming everything from scratch, but hopefully in a cleaner way and with extra things the first one didn’t have, like parallax mapping and ambiance sounds.

My plan is to have the release ready for the first week of October this year, so fingers cross. Of course, this also means that this year there won't be a new game following Catrina's Halloween Nightmare events, but hopefully, this big update will keep you entertained enough while I work on the next thing.
